Thursday, August 11, 8:57 — FOOTBALL IS BACK!
Hello! Good news, WE GOT OUR NEW (pre-owned) CAR! It’s a Honda Odyssey 2008, and its color is a dark bluish. It came in last night, because the people drove the car here, and gave it to us (we’d already payed for it), and rode off in our old van because we were doing a trade in. The funny thing is that the car we’re trading in is a Honda Odyssey 2002! So basically we’re doing a major upgrade!
Also, I saw Mr. Red at my feeder, but that’s the only bird. I think that the feeder ran out of food because it doesn’t look like there are anymore seeds in it. That’s probably why there are no birds. I’m going to fill it later.
Also, in case you didn’t know, The USA National Soccer team – under a new head coach – tied Mexico’s National team 1-1. I think that this new coach will be great for Team USA, and hopefully they can start winning!
Here’s what happened today in history:
1951 – WCBS-TV in New York City became the first station to televise a baseball game in color. And they didn’t stop there. They were also the first station to broadcast two games in color, as this was doubleheader day at Ebbets Field between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Boston Braves. (The Dodgers won the first game 8-1; the Braves took the nitecap, 8–4.)Cool! I always that that B and W TV wasn’t as interesting as color TV. Way to go, WCBS-TV!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
TODAY THE NFL PRESEASON IS STARTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSS!
HERE IS THE SCHEDULE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello, hello! I know it’s a little late, but I’m going to post real quick. I just stopped reading a Calvin & Hobbes comic on my mom’s kindle, and we’re just about to eat dinner. Earlier, we went to a car dealer and looked at some cars to buy because ours transmission is slipping, and we need to get a new car now.
Today was really hot, and the A/C was blaring in our car.
Earlier on I was working on my story, which is coming along quite well now.
Before I log off, this is what happened today in history:
1963 – Seven million dollars was stolen in Britain’s Great Train Robbery by a gang of fifteen thieves. Scotland Yard called the holdup up, “Britain’s biggest robbery ever attempted.” All but three of the gang were identified by fingerprints.
That’s a lot of money!
Also, I haven’t seen anymore birds at my feeder, except for the cardinal. Since the Cardinal comes around so often, I decided to name it “Mr. Red”. I think the name suits him well.
Well, that’s it for today.

Hello! Before I start out posting, here is what happened today in history:
1959: The United States launched Explorer 6, which sent back a picture of Earth. Pretty interesting.
Now to the real post. I just came back from a soccer field with my brothers and dad. We stayed there for an hour or so, and I worked on perfecting my curving skills. I can’t wait for the season to start.
Also, my brother’s former piano teacher sent us a link to a really cool/funny group on youtube. It is called MozArt. The video is Hilarious! There are also other videos by the MozArt group. the link is here.
Tell me what you think about it!
One last thing. Yesterday, I created my own blog logo. Here it is:
Hope you like it!

Saturday, August 6, 4:39 PM — More Pics!
Hello everyone. As you can see by the title, I am posting pictures again. Except these pictures are different. Last week or so, my mom and I went to Home Depot to get these bird feeders. We got a humming bird feeder, a seed cake feeder, and a normal seed feeder. I put all of them around trees. Anyway, after a week or so of no bird eaters, earlier today I saw a sight that made my heart stop beating. There was this brilliant red cardinal eating food from my feeder (I didn’t actually see him eat, but he was hopping about it madly, and I guess he ate my food)! I grabbed the camera and snapped some pictures. Although some may not be in good quality, the pictures are below!

As you see, Those are some of my better pictures. If more birds come around, I’ll try and get my pictures up here. By the way, this is what happened today in history:
Friday, August 5, 5:45 PM — Pictures
Hello. Earlier, my cat boots was sleeping in this hilarious posture. Here are the pictures (plus an extra picture of my garden’s HUGE squash!):
Here is our ExTrEmLy big Squash Plant from our garden (organic, too!) Weighed about 6 1/2 pounds!
For some reason, our squashes have been growing very large this year. AND WE DID NOT USE ANY — and i mean any — PESTICIDES, HERBICIDES, OR ANY OF THOSE OTHER CHEMICAL STUFF! IT’S 100 % ORGANIC!
Anyway, talk to you later. Hopefully I’ll have something interesting to write about.

p.s. i just received two redwall books that i ordered recently — mossflower and mattimeo. They’re awesome books.

Hey peeps! The reason I’m posting now is because I want to show you this really cool/weird baseball video I found on Yahoo today. Unfortunately, It isn’t on Youtube so I’ll show you the link:
The Link Is Here.
Anyway, just to tell you, the video is the first thing on the top. It looked like a picture to me, and it took me a while to find the video.
Comment on what you think.

Hello everyone and sorry for not posting in a while. I was very busy with a summer camp for the past month (the camp was everyday, morning to afternoon). Anyway, let me update you with what has been happening.
- Me and my family are pet sitting our friend’s cat for a while. Here name is Sara, and she so cool.
- The US *sob* lost against Japan in the Women’s World Cup Finals in shootouts. I think that they should have won because they had tons–and I mean tons–of opportunities to score against Japan. They should have had about 3-4 goals in the first half alone! And the few chances Japan had, they scored or created great chances for scores. All Japan needed was that one chance to score. Anyway, the game went into shootouts, and the US missed their first shot. Japan’s goalie made an awesome save. Then Japan scored one past Hope Solo (the US goaltender) to make the score 1-0. Then another US player stepped up…but her shot sailed way over the crossbar and into the crowd. The score was 1-0 still. THe US tried again, but the Japan goalie saved it AGAIN! The score was still 1-0. Then a Japan player put it past Hope Solo to take the 2-0 lead. But the US leading scorer, Amy Wambach, scored against the Japan goalie. The score was 2-1. Now, this is the important part. Japan had the 2-1 lead, and if they scored this last PK, then they won the World Cup. And to make a long story short, Japan scored, and the US lost the Cup. Hopefully they’ll get it next time.
